The Kpop phenomenon SMTOWN took hold of the Zenith for two consecutive days on the 10th and 11th June. Two sold-out concerts which were spectacularly crazy!
SM TOWN is a Korean troop made up of five groups produced by the SM Entertainment agency. A well-oiled machine which organises each year a huge casting to recruit future stars and to train them to success. Groups of girls or boys, competent for stage performances, such as Girls’ Generation, f(x), TVXQ, Super Junior and SHINee who conquered the Parisian crowd!
It was more Pop and R&B than Rock, the different groups had done a great show. Lights, Beyoncé or Lady Gaga parodies, cross-dressing, precise choreographies were added for really fun performances. The fans were presents and cheers were heard during the whole night! Later, after their performances, the girls and boys didn’t missed the chance to thank France for welcoming them and were overwhelmed to be able to export the Korean Culture. “We are at the same time happy and impressed to be here in Paris”, says Jong Hyun, a fine-looking boy from the SHINee group, “and we hope that our music will continue to cross borders and generations”.
